Gable louvres and frame
The Louvred trangular frame which will be inserted into the top of the gable has been fabricated and is on site. Looks good and once it painted to match the facias it should be even better.
The idea is that it will be used to vent the excess heat that builds up inside the buffer space on a very hot day. It'll be manually controlled from sthe living room on the top floor, where there'll be a switch linked to a damper in the pipes in the sofit of the gable.
