We're plastering!

Plastering!

Major things which need to happen are plastering (to be finished tonight), 1 coat paint, underfloor heaitng running, floor laid THEN kitchen laid, then floor finished. All this means that this part of the house is a few steps ahead of everywhere else.
The wierd thing about this is that the roof still isn't finished and yet the house is almost fully plasterboarded on the ground floor. The gable has yet to be tiled and so the ridge tiles aren't all on. We can't see any reason why this is apart from the fact that the roofers haven't been around all the time. The chimney was completed in plenty of time for them to tile around it, which was good, as it was initally a concern of ours that the flue parts wouldn't reach the site in time. Anyway it seems that the HRVS is holding up the plasterboarding upstairs, and it's probably safer to plasterboard, render & plaster downstairs, where damp is less likely to penetrate.
